More than $1 billion in payments will be released over the next several weeks starting June 15 for agricultural producers with approved applications for the Quality Loss Adjustment (QLA) Program and for producers who have already received payments through the Wildfire and Hurricane Indemnity Program Plus (WHIP+). These U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) programs provide disaster assistance to producers who suffered losses to 2018 and 2019 natural disasters.

About the Quality Loss Adjustment Program
Apply for the Quality Loss Adjustment Program
USDA’s Farm Service Agency accepted QLA applications from January 6 through April 9, 2021. To apply, producers must submit a completed program application along with supporting documentation. Producers can apply directly through their local USDA Service Center or via our online QLA Application Portal.
Additional forms and documentation will be needed to finalize your QLA application.
Assistance with Applying
Please call the FSA office at your local USDA Service Center to schedule an appointment if you’d like assistance or have questions about applying for QLA.
A call center is also available for producers who would like additional one-on-one support with the QLA application process. Please call 877-508-8364 to speak directly with a USDA employee ready to help. The call center can provide service to non-English speaking customers.
