In Their Own Words: Disaster Assistance Discovery Tool For Farmers, By Farmers

Two Oklahoma State University "Cowgirls" Bring America's Brightest Orange and Farming Tradition to USDA Farmers.gov

Meet Victoria Chapman and Vanessa Wiebe, two USDA summer interns from Oklahoma State University. These proud Oklahoma State University "cowgirls" work their own farm business operations while pursuing agriculture degrees - with never-ending support from their farm families of course.

Both bring their perspectives and farming traditions to USDA this summer as a part of the new farmers.gov website team.  As it grows, the farmers.gov website will deliver information, tools, and first-hand advice built around the needs of America's farmers, ranchers, and foresters. It's a site being built for farmers, by farmers like Victoria and Vanessa.
